About Meljen's Designs
 Meljen's Designs officially got its start in 2009 when the artist joined MyGraficO to design and sell clip art. A few months later she ventured out on her own with a new style in mind, and opened a tiny Etsy shop in February 2010 with only a couple digital stamps.
Much to her surprise they quickly sold, and she found herself designing more and more digis. She was then approached to start a design team and weekly challenged which debuted in April 2010.
She has since had many ventures, including joining with Whimsy Stamps where her digis were hosted for several months.
She has now returned to her own shop, where she hosts over 500 digital designs and continues to expand her collection and explore new product ideas.

 About the ArtistMy name is Melissa 'meljen' Jenkins. I am a homeschooling mother of two children (and two cats!), wife to my best friend, and I've been an artist my entire life. It is a talent I proudly carry as a gift from my father and from God.
I took a handful of art classes throughout my life and a year of life drawing in college. I dabble in graphic design, and I originally got my start in the professional art field with logo and web design work.
Years ago I decided to venture out into the world of clip art. I worked for a few years, trying out varying styles and techniques, and barely got some work out in 2009 during my time at MyGraficO.
I then ran across 'digital stamps' and I decided once more to try to find my artistic voice. My very first design was Cherry Mouse, followed by Puppy Love Frame, Teacup Mouse and Frog Prince. I fell in love and haven't looked back! I am so thrilled to be able to share my talent with you, and to interact with my lovely team. It is truly a blessing.
